Hello, my name is Dave and I'm the owner and craftsman here at Gear Box Leather.
I started GBL in 2014 after working with the Judge Dredd costuming community around the world and understanding the passion that comes with building the suits their favorite characters. It was an honor to help them embody that character as much as possible by offering leather accessories that are as accurate as possible to the real thing.
During that time that I discovered my own passion for pulling pieces straight out of the comic books, movies, video games and creating a real life version of those pieces so someone can become a Street Judge, Deadpool, their favorite version of Batman, etc. So now, 10+ years later, I am still as passionate as ever about offering my services to anyone who is looking for a high quality, but most importantly, screen accurate leather costume accessories.
